It is possible that the USAGI people have backported the
network driver API from 2.4 to 2.2. Alternatively, they
might have based the USAGI 2.2 kernel on a version, such as
one by Alan Cox, that has had this done to it.
I'd suggest selecting the 8139too driver, or if that is
not present in your tree, copying in the 8139too.c and
possible associated .h files from a 2.4 tree.
