Hello!
I'm developing a program which needs to set and get the hop limit for
output packets, and I don't get it works properly. I always get an
error
of 'invalid argument'. I've copied an example from several RFCs and the
code is the following:
int hoplimit = 10;
setsockopt(s, IPPROTO_IPV6, IPV6_UNICAST_HOPS, (char *)&hoplimit,
sizeof(hoplimit));
I get the error number 22: Invalid argument.
Someone can help me with this in trying to set and get the hop limit
for
output packets as a sticky option? I'm wondering if it is actually
implemented.
Thanks a lot.
