I am not disagreeing on the fact that RFC 2462 is outside of  the scope
for routers but  my question is why IPv6 autoconfiguration should be
restricted to hosts only and when in fact, we proved that it would work
well for routers too. Sorry if you are not getting my point.

Since this is 'IPv6 specification' related issue and not a Linux
implementation
issue, I believe it is more appropriate to discuss it in IPNG WG mailing
list
rather than these mailing lists and  I'll bring it up there.
