Hello! I'm using MIPL for testing mobile ip6. Here's the configuration:
| MN |
wvlan0
|
wvlan0 wvlan0
| FA | | HA |
eth0 eth0
| |
---------
|
eth0
| CN |
When mobile node (MN) is moved from home network to foreign network
(FA), mobile node gets care-of-address from FA and mobile
node's routing table is modified as follows (::/0->HA addr. => ::/0->FA
addr.).
Everything seems OK, but when switched to FA, MN cannot connect anywhere.
Tcpdump shows that in FA, ping request is forwarded to target, but FA
cannot forward ping reply back to MN. Routing seems to be ok in FA, I don't
know what is the problem. With HA everything is OK, and FA is configured
alike HA. IP6 forewarding is switched on in both routers (HA and FA).
