Currently we have no plan to merge with FreeS/WAN, as FreeS/WAN is again
thinking about a "IPSec in an interface"-design (called mast device)
after they have abandoned their KLIPS2 redesign.

I don't think that Dave Miller (or Linus) is willing to accept IPSec
contributions to the main linux kernel as long as US export restrictions
are the way they are now. Furthermore we don't have the resources to
include such a beast into the original kernel distribution and maintain
it.

You are welcome to include our code into the USAGI project (as you have
already done with our version 0.1) and we would be happy to cooperate
with you, although our resources for coding and testing are limited
right now.
