Hi,
What i'm trying to do is to make 2 linux (redhat)
machines see each other in IPv6, which means that they
can ping each other.
I recompiled my kernel(2.4.8) so that it supports for
IPv6. I only enabled IPv6 and thats it in the kernel.
it recompiled safely with no problems.
Now, i don't know what the next step should be. how
can i ping?? i tried 'ping6' from one machine to
another but no success. when i type 'ifconfig' it
shows me:
-HWaddr.
-inet addr. &
-inet6 addr.
what commands i need to use to configure and test
IPv6?? is there a package that i need to install??
any help or suggestion??
thanks,
Alaa.
