What about this subject ?

As you know .... OSI has session layer in their stack
maybe you could implement Session Layer in TCP/IP stack with IPv6
so application layer could use this layer to manage their session

Currently some application layer eg: HTTP implement their session layer
in application layer .

Maybe you could do some kernel hacking :)
