Hello usagi-users!
Just started with IPv6 and I have a strange Problem with RedHat 7.2: The
interface Configuration and Routing is done properly and I can ping the
loopback Interface, but I cannot ping the Link-Local Address....indeed I
cannot do anything else at all: All Tools fail with the same Error Message
"connect: Cannot assign requested address" ....ping6, traceroute6, telnet
and so on.....Loopback (::1) works well (even with ssh) ... all other
Targets fail, even the Link-Local Adresses ... any ideas?
The Installation is running within a vmware, the network module loaded is
an AMD "pcnet32", the kernel is RedHat 2.4.9-13, IPv4 works fine and I
don't need no tunnel since I'm on an hybrid LAN. If further Information is
required please let me know!
Thanks in advance
