Hi,
----------
subject:(usagi-users 00762) Re: how to start router advertisements
Is this what radvd or /etc/radvd.conf is used for in Linux?
Is radvd part of the RedHat7.1 distribution? I have not found it
on my media. Or am I confused? What starts the router to advertise
his prefix on the link for others to pick up and auto configure
their ipv6 addresses?
If you install USAGI kit, you can use /usr/local/v6/radvd to annunce
RA messages. The configuration file is /usr/local/v6/etc/radvd.conf.
----------
My media(Red Hat 7.2) can't have file /usr/local/v6/etc/radvd.conf. ,
I used USAGI kit ( usagi-linux24-s20020415.tar.bz2 ) though.
( I installed USAGI kit with "INSTALL.USAGI" , and when I boot my media,
it can start up normally. )
I made mistake when I installed USAGI kit or needed any other kernels
( or any techniques )?
Someone has some good ideas ?
naoko saito
