Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) - Ottawa May 6-7 - This two-day course addresses the challenge of next generation networks and describes MPLS concepts, architecture and components practical solutions. Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANS) - Ottawa May 15-16 - This two-day course describes the principles and practices of Wireless Local Area Networks and covers the parallel developments in North America and Europe. Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) - Ottawa May 23-24 - This two-day course uses lectures and case studies to explain Ethernet and how to design an Ethernet network. The course examines all types of current Ethernet technology, provides detailed coverage of Gigabit Ethernet, discusses cabling and topology issues, and describes the implementation and uses of VLANs and Class of Service. Case studies will be used to give the student experience solving real-world design issues. Cabling for Telecommunications - Toronto May 13-14 - The purpose of this two-day course is to introduce the student to cabling systems used in the telecommunication industry and is useful to anyone who requires a detailed understanding of the cabling structure and its standards.
