Thanks for the direction....I went ahead and emailed Andi Kleen of SuSE,
who is also a network maintainer, on this. Hopefully he'll get back to me
with some info.

Me (author of RHL IPv6-scriptset) not, sorry. Earlier, they had a
rudimentary setup by rc.config.

Probably they miss all the hooks and the IPv6 library.
As current starting point, take a look at

and take latest snapshot

and try to apply the diffs shown in RHL 6.2.
Can anyone point me to the initscript-RPM of SuSE 8.0 for
downloading? Perhaps I can provide diffs for testing.
