(usagi-users 01846) A problem when using Mozilla in Linux with IPV6 support

hi,
I using Mozilla in a ipv6/ipv4 dual stack mechine(RH7.2, name server set to
the IPv6 address of a local DNS server),
When i try to reach a webpage with an URL for example www.nus.edu.sg, the
brower first send a AAAA dns query out and get the correct responding.
Then It keeps sending the A type DNS query and do not get response(I seted
the local DNS works like that), after around half to one mine, the Mozilla
found that it can not get a A type answer, it will use the IPv6 address that
it got in first step and sending out IPv6 http request to this IPv6 address.

I do not understand why Mozilla keeps sending out A request after it already
get the correct AAAA dns answer.

Any idea?

thanks very much.

regards,
zhimin
