What is the route on Host1? The default route on Host1 should point to GW1
(just as default route on Host2 points to GW1).
Running tcpdump on Host1 and Host2 should help figure out where exactly is
the problem occurring.
Apart from that, ping6 from Host2 to GW1's eth1 address should still
work...
I assume the "2ffe" was a typo.
