The version of ping6 I have requires an interface address, not an interface
name, for the "-I" argument.

Hello.
 I am using RedHat 7.2.
 The problem is that i can ping6 ::1 (loopback address) successfully,but
 when i
ping6 my link local address, i failed.

" ping6 -I eth0 fe80::2c0:4fff:feb9:3e83"
the error message is "cannot assign requested address"
what is wrong about it.
