(usagi-users 01969) Re: Compile errors

Thanx a lot. I guess, I also made the same mistake. Now, I abled to compile and load the new kernel. But seems like pfkey was not installed automatically for this USAGI kit as it was said in IPsec HOWTO document. I tried to install myself pfkey and pluto but in both case got errors! For pfkey, the error I got is:

/usr/bin/install: cannot create regular file `/usr/local/v6/sbin´: No such file or directory

And for pluto I got:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -linet6

Any suggestion??

did you run
make prepare TARGET=linux24
or whatever kernel you're using?
I made the silly mistake of typing $linux24 once when I was following >the directions too closely to pay attention.
hope this helps.

Hi,

I have been trying to compile the stable USAGI kernel (usagi-linux24-stable-20021007) to my Red Hat 7.3 box, at first I got the error mesege about missing file of 'md5.h'but after I managed to get the right md5.h from some sources in the net now it complains about missing 'md5.o' module!! I have followed the INSTALL.USAGI during the compilation. Does anyone know the solution or have any idea?? Thanx.
