Hi,
I'm interested in the state of merging the USAGI code in the 2.5
mainline.
There are a few obvious, big things missing -- IPSec, which we know is
being reimplemented, for example. I'm fuzzier on the status of Mobile
IP -- will that make it into 2.5? Who's working on getting it
integrated?
What about smaller pieces? There are significant differences still:
* firewall/netfilter
* default address selection
* anycast
* ISATAP(unclear to me at this point if that will
get standardized or not)
* IPv6 in IPv6 tunneling
* ICMP node information query (unclear to me at this point if that will
get standardized or not)
How are those being pushed from 2.4 to 2.5?
The related question is, how can I help?
