(usagi-users 02161) Bug: Cannot remove PCMCIA network interface

Hi,

Kernel version: 2.4.20
Usagi patch used: ftp://ftp.linux-ipv6.org/pub/usagi/snap/split/usagi-linux24-s20030120-2.4.20.diff.bz2
Usagi version: Snapshot 20 Jan 2003
GNU libc: 2.3.1 (Debian GNU/Linux)

With an USAGI-patched kernel, I cannot anymore remove a PCMCIA network
interface. I can with vanilla Linux.

 - "ifconfig eth0" down works
 - but after, "cardctl eject" hangs, and this message appears:
waiting for eth0 to come free, usage count=2

This means that in particular, it is impossible to cleanly shutdown
the machine.

See my previous message for kernel configuration and loaded modules.
