Thank you very much Kurt.
I tried to follow those instructions, but with no success (compilation problems again). Anyway, that page has a link to www.netcore.fi/pekkas/linux/ipv6/ where I could find a VIC executable compiled with IPv6 support and Philips webcam patch.
