(usagi-users 02430) link-local address routing question

Hi,

The routing table for IPv6 has an entry for the hosts auto-configured
link-local address which is directed to the loopback interface.

It does not seem to be possible to send a packet to the hosts own
link-local address through a physical interface, even if
you set the scope_id to the relevant value for eth0.

Is this behaviour intended, or is it a bug? I am running on
a 2.4.9 kernel.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks,
Michael McMahon.
