This might not be the correct site to send this, but before you were
very helpful so I am requesting your help again.
While testing MIPv6 using the usagi-linux24-s20030623 I observed
behavior of the MN that I am not able to understand. the mobile node can
see the link local address of the HA but when it comes to the site
local address some times it can see it an some times it can't. The
strange behavior is that although it can see the link local address when
it come to the site local, it creates an ip6tnlx, where x is a number
that keeps increasing as I take down the ip6tnls, every time I take down
the tunnel I am able to ping6 the site local but almost immediately
another tunnel is created and I can no longer ping the site local address.
Ok never mind thanks to ethereal I can see what s going on, the MN can
also see another router and it looks like it chooses the last router
that it discover, although handover has not taken place. In any case if
anybody believes that is something different I will appreciate your
comments.
Thank you
William
