Hello,
I am trying to set up a Linux box which acts as a ppp
daemon to clients requesting ipv4 or ipv6 ppp
connections and acts as a router for such clients.I
have already installed the patch to enable pppd for
ipv6. My problem is how to configure RADVD to handle
such a situation of frequently appearing and
dissappearing ppp interfaces which can either have an
ipv4 or ipv6 communicating client attached to them.
The RADVD should send advertisements only when a
client requests ipv6 address through ppp and not for
ipv4 client. I searched the internet extensively for
this but could not get anywhere.
I also tried to have multiple radvd.conf and pid files
corresponding to each ppp interface and tried to run
multiple copies of RADVD corresponding to each
interface but RADVD doesnt allow that.
Any help would be immensely appreciated.
Thanks
regards
Vinay
