There is someone working on a full implementation of both
the PIM-SM daemon and the parts which the Linux kernel
require for doing mulicast routing

In the mean time you can use my ecmh program, which does
multicast routing based on MLDv1.
See http://unfix.org/projects/ecmh/

New version out tonight somewhere which should fix some
oddities with respect to MLDv2 fallbacks on broken Linux boxes.
2002-02-17 version of today is already there, but not
on SourceForge/FreshMeat yet.

Greets,
 Jeroen
