I had a problem with using vt100 with some older tahi version.
Some scripts send very long commands to the NUT, and expect to be able
to read back the echoed command. With vt100, the command string wraps
and thus the echo contains a newline. As the scripts was unable to match
the echoed text with the original command, it failed.

The problem went away when I used vt102-w instead of vt100.
