traceroute6 from the latest stable USAGI release works fine.

I was a bit puzzled by the command options and output. I then dug through the 
SuSE packages, net-tools, source packages, and finally discovered that the 
traceroute6 command in SuSE 9.3 is the version made by Olaf Kirch in 2002.
